ECOOM performs a biliometric screening of the candidate experts for the Research Foundation - Flanders (FWO) on an annual basis. This is always done according to a specific protocol and regulations that are regularly adjusted to the relevant developments and conditions.
The bibliometric analyzes for the FWO have been an important periodic assignment from the Expertise Center since 2007. Within the framework of this assignment, ECOOM determines, among other things, the bibliometric profiles of the candidate committee members and, at the request of the Flemish government, also carries out the bibliometric evaluations of the FWO project results.
